以奇幻詭譎類型電影享譽國際的韓國富川國際奇幻影展預計將在今年7月舉行第24屆盛會，日前率先公布亞洲奇幻電影聯盟創投會入選作品名單，從全球超過40國，共計181件開發企劃案投稿中，精選出19件作品進入最終列表。而由前景娛樂領軍國際聯合製作的驚悚懸疑劇作《蘇荔》也成功脫穎而出，打進國際It Project創投作品之列。
《蘇荔》是新銳女導演涂琳繼2018年首支短片《運動會 Sports Day》在國際大放異彩後，緊接著即將開拍的長片處女作，初試啼聲便野心再戰自編自導，展現獨特敘事天分與藝術才華。畢業於北京大學，主修新聞傳播與藝術，並擁有美國西北大學影視戲劇寫作系碩士學位，涂琳以科班出生的深厚寫作基礎，推出過多部小說散文創作，在網路上小有名氣，也曾挑戰創作英文劇作於紐約公演，不但入圍全美MFA劇作家戲劇節，更獲得美國戲劇出版社發行機會。其短片劇本項目《一曲終了》更曾進入好萊塢劇本競賽決賽，在學生時期便嶄露傑出才氣。
2018年涂琳推出自編自導的短片出道作《運動會》，藝術能量大爆發迎來極佳口碑，成功登上國際舞台，更使全球電影節爭相播映，創下首支作品就一舉挺進美國、英國、德國、義大利、瑞典等橫跨4大洲18國、超過30個電影節入選片單的驚人紀錄。這回籌備首部長片《蘇荔》再次挑戰自編自導，描述留學生陳微在異國遇見失聯多年的閨蜜蘇荔，然而發生在蘇荔身上的駭人罪案卻將陳微拖入幻象叢生的深淵。電影尚未開拍便備受矚目，入選富川國際奇幻影展創投會，絕對是電影生涯的全新里程碑。
《蘇荔》由前景娛樂負責人黃茂昌擔任監製，期望日後選角階段能在兩岸三地眾多出色年輕女演員中，尋找到合適的女主角人選。電影集結國際陣容，計畫將遠赴匈牙利取景拍攝，與曾入圍奧斯卡最佳外語片的《夢鹿情謎》金獎團隊共同打造驚悚懸疑類型燒腦電影，預計今年底正式開鏡。富川國際奇幻影展主辦之亞洲奇幻電影聯盟創投會，多年來致力於發掘亞洲才華電影新秀，今年邁入第13屆遇上全球疫情，將首度改以線上市場展模式於今年暑假登場。
