第七十四屆坎城影展於6月3日公佈主競賽單元入圍名單，台灣參與聯合製作的電影《MONEYBOYS》入圍「一種注目」競賽單元，並將於7月影展期間進行世界首映。本片將角逐「一種注目」單元裡的一種注目大獎、評審團獎、最佳導演獎、最佳演員獎、評審團特別獎，還有專門提供給首部長片的金攝影機獎，以及會外的費比西影評人獎、同志金棕櫚獎等。
《MONEYBOYS》全程在台灣拍攝，幕前幕後團隊堅強，包含多位金馬獎、台北電影節、香港金像獎、東京影展與金鐘獎的入圍與得獎者。本片預計今年在台灣上映，並將報名金馬獎。

故事梗概：
來自鄉村的年輕人飛獨自一人來到城市成為性工作者賺錢以撫養家人，並與同行的前輩曉來成為戀人，但在一場意外後斷了音訊；時隔五年，飛的同事紛紛出於家庭與社會壓力而離開，唯有飛選擇留在城市與同鄉男友龍繼續打拼，卻與已結婚生子的曉來不期而遇⋯⋯
